Jul 29, 2015 Well while you calculate their L's and W's like a mathematician, I'll just anticipate the great music that has/is-about-to-be dropped. @Enigma personally wouldn't call it a false accusation. Just Meek's ignorance shining brighter than ever. It's 100% true that Drake has credited writers before and to someone like Meek who preaches that "real" thing all the time, the fact Drake even got help with writing would make him lose a lot, if not all of his credibility (in the eyes of Meek of course). I like both artists, Just don't think you can clearly call one a winner and one a loser at this point. But with all that other info you just dropped, that I didn't know about, then yeah it doesn't look good for Meek, but just remember, when Meek called Drake out, it didn't look good for Drake.

Jul 29, 2015 i'm of two minds on this. on one hand, people are exaggerating how good the diss is--all drake STILL has is "your girlfriend is more famous than you," which A. isn't exactly a scathing diss and B. is all he was dancing around up to this point anyway. on the other hand, everything about how he dropped the diss--getting two shots in before meek goes to wax; dropping one of the most beautiful, instantly classic pieces of cover art; "i've been waiting four days, n-----, where y'all at?"--might put him down in history as the winner. and while the rest of the disses still aren't there, they're at least structured more potently, and "you gettin bodied by a singing n-----" is pretty fantastic. so, yeah, unless meek drops an "intro," it seems as if public opinion now and in the future will give this to drake. drake is still a fraud and meek should be commended for pointing that out. but it became apparent pretty quickly that he'd need to have a track ready, and he dropped the ball. flex's show from two nights ago retroactively becomes the turning point.
