    Completely agree. Meek had the upper hand when this started and if he had a strategic bone in his body could have really damaged Drake. Instead, Drake played this thing perfectly and destroyed the guy's career. I'm a Meek Mill fan but thanks in large part to social media this has been Ja Rule levels of bad for him. I'm a big fan of this new bully Drake and really hope he goes for the k---.

    Not to mention Drake has nothing to do with the publishing of Meek's inlay.

    Meek lost for taking a Drake throwaway and pasting a verse on it from the jump, it got worse when that song ended up being the best joint on his album :laff:

    I'm saying RICO was a Drake throwaway. It was a song made by Drake for Drake (with the assist from Vinylz, 40, QM, and whoever else). It ended up being something he wasn't going to use, so he gave the track to Meek. We're talking about creative process in rap, I'm trying to paint a bigger picture. Rappers like Meek take already finished tracks, lay a verse on it, and call it their own. But we're not speaking about Meek, so whatever.

    Laying out cadence is laying out the flows for the verse. A lot of times producers or other creatives will mumble over a beat so rappers know how to write to it. You can hear that in Kendrick's version of All Day as well. Getting flows laid out for you common practice. Producers know how to mesh vocals with production better than rappers do.
