    First listen.. Dre definitely impressed me with his rapping. He used to rap very textbook but he seems to be breaking out of that with this album.

    I'm only up to All In a Days Work but my favorite moment so far is definitely kendricks verse on genocide :banderas:

    Seriously. I dont understand the hate? The flow was great. The energy. Everything was great. And its a good song hoenstly. I jus think ppl are a bit salty cus it wasnt on a "Dre sounding beat". But as a song its amazing, the structure was cool. How it died down for Ems part and then the energy just kept rebuilding. It was crazy and amazing. Very cinematic.

    Im stayin in this thread, this thread makes me happy af! a bunch of people enjoying this amazing piece of art an not nit picking an acting like their hip hop enthusiasts, jus a bunch of people enjoying a great f---in album.. went into some other threads an they jus bring me down by all the s--- talkin an nit pickin, THIS ALBUM is probably one of the best albums that have come out in years! Its fresh an new an even though it dont sound like past dre albums, i think thats a good thing. Its a fresh f---in sound! i love this s---!

    I think the 1st half 0f 2001 is perfection, but the 2nd half is just mediocre filler until the masterpiece closer.

    Finally listening properly for the second time around.... Modern Dre still got it.... But d--- if Kenny doesn't k--- it like always "This is life in my aquarium"... Snoop stay lit but Cold 187um? Black Superman on some OG s---....

    I'm going to let this s--- settle.... f---ing Game sounding like he always should have!

    Same. After first listen I like it better than 2001. I like every song and the way it flows better. But Ill have to wait for a lot mroe spins before this opinion is cemented or official.

    Completely agreed. This album is much, much more consistent BUT.... it's highs don't come close to the highs on 2001. Still a great album though.
