Dre wouldn't say he scraped Detox because wasn't up to his standards, say this is his last album, title it something personal to him, and then put it out and it would be bunk. Do I think this will be better than 2001? No, but I bet it will be a classic and if nothing else, be one of the best hip hop albums in the last 10 years. I have faith

Aug 6, 2015 Bringing up 50 made me think that Dre gets a LOT of unwarranted hate/blame for the clusterfuck that was Detox. I mean to some extent you have to look at what he was dealing with. His best artist decided to turn into a methadone junkie. His other two young, extremely talented artists decided to let their egos blow EVERYTHING up. I mean, if Eminem never got hooked on the drugs and Game/50 weren't immature as f--- we would have had this album in 05/06 and who knows how good it could have been. Dre was dealt some really s-----y cards.

Aug 6, 2015 I dunno. If Eminem didn't overdose on pills and Game/50 didn't overdose on being douchebags, would Dre have even pursued the Beats deal.. Eventually leading the billion dollar sale to Apple? I'd say it worked out okay
Aug 6, 2015 my problem is not the quantity of features but the quality. i know dre is a producer first but from what ive seen he barely has any beats on here. either way this is an event and dre is a legend so im not trying to take away anything from it. i just hope people arent expecting it to be on the same level as his first 2 albums.
