Aug 6, 2015 I only watched It Follows, but it was one h--- of a movie. So simple plot, but so effective!

Aug 6, 2015 Haven't seen many, less than 10 I think Best is probably It Follows Worst is definitely Fifty Shades of Grey
Aug 6, 2015 Ashamed to say that I still haven't seen Mad Max: Fury Road. But the best is either It Follows or Inside Out. Ex Machina was great as well. And I think I'm much more positive about Age of Ultron than most people were.
Aug 6, 2015 Blackhat It Follows Amy Los Ausentes Inside Out From What Is Before Mad Max: Fury Road Magic Mike XXL Cobain: Montage of Heck Gangnam Blues Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter Ex Machina Lost River Irrational Man Far from the Madding Crowd I don't have a particular order yet but these are all films I enjoyed this year, with the ones at the top being my personal favorites. Some films I'm looking forward to: Cemetery of Splendour The Assassin Carol Queen of Earth Mountains May Depart Our Little Sister The Lobster Chronic Macbeth The Good Dinasour Star Wars
Aug 6, 2015 I'm not going by U.S. release dates btw. A lot of the films on Pinhead and Twan's lists would make my 2014 list like Timbuktu, Girlhood, Phoenix & Jauja.
Aug 6, 2015 even though i loved it, i do think fury roads overrated as a whole (kinda in the same way gravity was, imo) either way, out of what I've seen (which isnt much) Ex Machina is by faaar my favorite. So f---ing gooooooood Inherent Vice really deserves a rewatch before I form any real opinions
Aug 6, 2015 What's up with people slaughtering Inherent Vice's name today? Inherit Vice Inherent Vince
Aug 6, 2015 it didnt sit well with me. it was a unique experience watching it in theaters, but so was interstellar and I like the latter way more. And I know most people liked Sandra Bullock's performance but I wasn't a big fan. Either way, the comparison was just because the're both movies that are easy to marvel at cause of their production value (and directing, obviously) but neither plots did anything for me.
