    After one listen:
    • Much, much better in HQ
    • WHY ISN'T DR. DRE THE FIRST RAPPER ON HIS OWN ALBUM? Seriously bothered by this, especially right after that fantastic intro. I'm sitting there hyped as s--- for Dre.. and some dude I've never heard of before starts mumbling over a classic Dre beat.
    • Kendrick shines. This is what TPAB could've been.
    • Eazy-E vocals were great.
    • Deep Water > Every song released in 2015
    • Wish the song with Snoop Dogg was more of a West Coast anthem like Nuthin' But A G Thang / Next Episode rather than a song about killing people.
    • Just Another Day almost put me to sleep
    • Having 2 songs from other artists on your own album is still weird to me
    • Eminem was monotonous. I don't remember a word he said.
    • Talking To My Diary is a great outro with a corny title and hook.
    • Overall, a wonderful album that captured the essence of Dr. Dre. Succeeded my expectations. Tons of replay value. It's not Detox, but it's close.

    EDIT: Forgot to add how surprised at the effort that went into this album. Dre made it sound like it was thrown together in a few months, but it holds a TPAB level of care that goes into every second of every song.

    when i first heard the first track i was like ok not as good as the other albums:notbad::notbad:

    By the halfway point :rejoice::rejoice::rejoice::whew::whew:


    towards the end :banderas::banderas::cp3::cp3::wiggins::wiggins:




    when i remembered this was the last album by Dre :mjcry::mjcry::sad1::sad1::dead::dead:

    Dr Dres voice was so different on this album, had trouble identifying who was rapping sometimes.

    This. And it's very hard for me to pick between the two. Both albums are 10/10 classics. It's like trying to choose between MMLP and TES. It's just a matter of personal taste which style you prefer more. If I had to choose, I think I'd go with The Chronic. I just love that early 90s G-Funk era style.

    If anyone says this album is better than Chronic and 2001 they are reaching two decades before it's time to decide..... It doesn't even matter if this album is as good as those two unreachable classics tho cause it's still great..

    People wonder what Dre was waiting for to release an album. Kendrick and Jon Connor are the answer. Can you imagine this CD without two new young lyricists like them?
