    The Southpaw line was enough for me. That actually was such a powerful line it actually made your opinion wrong.

    I forced myself to sit down and listen to it straight through twice. Tracks 1-14 are absolutely PAINFUL to sit through. This is literally one of the worst albums I have ever heard in my life.

    But like I said, still plan on buying a physical just to support Dre and have it in my collection.

    Lol @ "modern classics" This album literally doesn't even have one song worthy of being released as a single/video, let alone anything remotely classic. Even the two songs I like aren't great.

    I honestly still think Arch Dogg's hatred for this album stems from him being upset that this wasn't what he wanted the album to sound like.

    I'm not the only one that doesn't like it. If you read reviews on facebook etc alot of people are VERY disappointed. Some are comparing it to his 1996 Aftermath album. A bunch of no-name artists doing features over horrible production.

    You mean the same idiots that think "Recovery" is Eminem's best album and claim that if Pac was alive, Lil Wayne would be working at McDonalds?

    Yeah, those people are probably in the same boat as you. Expecting an album similar in sound to The Chronic/2001 & immediately hating the album once they heard it was different.

    I don't think Recovery is his best album but I definitely think it's his best work since 8 Mile. And obviously Wayne wouldn't be at McDonalds but he sure as h--- wouldn't be as successful if legends like Big and Pac were still alive.

    Thing is, I don't feel like this album is really much of a chance taker. The production has a clear Dre/90's west coast influence to it. Is it modernized? Sure, but it's not like Dre didn't add any type of signature traits.

    That's exactly why I love it. He didn't just hop on the trends.. and didn't got stuck in 1999. It's a perfect combination of both, executed perfectly.

    There was no G-Funk tho unlike the first 2 that had it (Chronic heavy, subtle on 2001)
