    I'd generally rather go with someone (and usually just drag my fiance along), but to suggest that it's "weird" is just silly and immature. Going to see a movie isn't really a social experience unless you're still in middle school and want to giggle through the entire thing. So of course there's nothing wrong with it, how insecure are you?

    I've never done it but I eat alone, I can't imagine it being worse than that.

    Not really, if you wanna see a movie just go see a movie. I prefer it over seeing them with friends because my friends never shut the f--- up.

    When I lost my job a few years ago and was unemployed for a few months I used to go during the day by myself a couple times a month. Do you need someone to watch TV with at home? It's the same f---ing thing

    I used to always go with someone else but nowadays I almost always go by myself, I prefer it anyways. I get very annoyed when people talk during a movie in a theater so I even kinda choose where I sit carefully, try to make it so there won't be anyone directly behind me so I don't hear them eating popcorn/whispering or if they're total d----s, talking at a normal volume.

    I would have thought it was weird in the past too but not sure why I would have thought that, think it's just kinda what people are led to believe for whatever reason cuz obviously people wouldn't think it's weird to watch a movie by yourself at home. So why's it different if you're at the theater where you're not even supposed to talk during the film? I love getting high before movies and then just chilling watching everything myself, it's great.

    Don't think there's anything wrong with going by yourself. I've never gone to watch a movie alone but movie outings aren't really that good... socially speaking anyways.
