Aug 9, 2015 There was some kendrick interview (this was around the time I ran KDotNation so I saw literally every interview he did, so I couldn't tell you which one) He said something along the lines of "The coachella performance captures what time I'm in right now. That performance was so memorable to me (and since the Tupac hologram was the same show) I felt it'd be more a representation of what "The Recipe" means to me than the music video could ever do." It might've been a Hardknock.Tv interview but I really don't know. (if it is then I have an amazing memory)
