It's a good film but I'd like to see something more modern from QT. Inglorious is set during WWII and this film and Django are set in the 1800's.

Couldn't even finish this, knocked it off halfway through

I've disliked more Tarantino films than I've liked

i drove from virginia to silver spring, maryland to see this: 1. because i'm a big fan of his movies and 2. because it's something different to do rather than the same ol same ol stuff i usually do on christmas day.

but i must say, i was disappointed. it wasn't that good (and i LOVE his movies). this movie is very much a tale of two halves. the first half is very different from the second. what bothers me about this movie is that the execution of the violence wasn't very good. we all know he loves violence, but in this film its very sloppy. another thing is i''ve never seen any of his films go downhill as much as this one did when the second half started. first half>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>second half

as far as what i liked, i really enjoyed tim roth's character. the accent was great and he was funny. i also think the first half of the movie is very good--maybe even great. he does a great job of building tension amongst the characters. i didn't laugh my head off, but i did think the dialogue was quite funny throughout the film.

overall, i was disappointed though. out of all his movies, the only ones that disappointed me was this one and death proof. the rest, to me, are all good or great. and even though i drove two hours to see this, and it turned out to be a disappointment, i still had a fun time. it was a cool little adventure. but yeah, this is definitely among his WORST films

first, thanks for coming to my town and not hitting a n-----

first half before they go back is definitely better. the second half seemed super rushed but it was like it had to be cause they literally spent so much time on the first half

even though it's not "laugh out loud" a lot of the humor in the first half was very "smart" and done just right to give you that nice chuckle and I actually quite enjoyed the comedic side throughout the film

My dad and I just saw it, my sister and mom went to some Indian movie

It was dope. Entertaining. But my least favorite Tarantino film to date probably. Walton Goggins was so f---ing dope though lmaoo

Mr. Jackson and the rest of the cast as well obviously, especially mrs. Leigh but Goggins had me rolling in my seat at parts. Too funny

Defintely liked the 2nd half more than the first personally

That's a good question... and they are great!

this is probably my top 5

    1. Jackie Brown
    2. Inglorious b------s
    3. Pulp Fiction
    4. Hateful Eight
    5. k--- Bill Vol. 1 & 2 ( I look at them as one)

His films are so good, though they become interchangeable through the years

I'm going to be honest with you.. that's my least favorite QT film..even though good...it's my least favorite of them all

I'd even put Death Proof over that one..simply because I love the Grindhouse style

Robert's film is "Planet Terror". "Death Proof" is Tarantino's film. They marketed both films under Grindhouse. KB1 and KB2 are counted as one film in Tarantino's eyes. He wanted to release both together but the studio didn't want that.

you guys got the little hateful 8 booklet/program that they handed out.....right?

    lol, my bad

i enjoyed the comedic side, too.

i don't think the movie was bad, but i was disappointed and to me this is definitely one of his worst.

but hey, i've read some reviews since i got home-- and some ppl actually think this is one of his best--which is crazy to me

but hey, everyone has their own opinion

i feel like its one of his best because there aint s--- goin on the entire movie but it kept me locked in, usually ill just do other s--- when a movie is mainly conversation. i can see people viewing this film as slow but i feel like the stories of all the characters make it interesting, also the fact that its a tarantino film with sam jax in the front lines. on a side note tim roth did an outstanding job in that role, but when first seeing him was shocked it wasnt christoph. obvs tim roth is an og but waltz was in the last 2.
