Finally a thread where all Eminem fans can get along. I'll be posting a throwback Em song every Thursday. I think the cutoff will be roughly 5 years, so Recovery & Relapse will be included. Let me know if you want to be added to the mention list.

Since Straight Outta Compton is officially releasing in theaters tomorrow, I think it's only right that we start the thread off with Forgot About Dre. This was the 2nd single from 2001, and went on to win the Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2001. The song was a response to Dre's critics who had questioned his skills after The Chronic was released, but Eminem stole the show with possibly his best hook of all time.

For the 2nd week of the Eminem Throwback Thursday Thread, we go to an Eminem Show B-side cut that many consider one of the best songs from The Eminem Show era, Stimulate.

What do you guys think of this song? Should it have been on TES?

Its a d--- shame this guy won't fix up his flow and delivery. This is only 5 years ago, his voice sounds pretty good here too. I remember hearing that when he was younger before he blew he met Kid Rock. Rock thought he was dope but told him to SLOW THE f--- DOWN. Why won't anyone tell him this now??
