Aug 13, 2015 All the hate I've been seeing on 2015 Eminem is unwarranted. How is any of the verses/songs below actually bad? SPEEDOM: The flow ins't off beat . Its actually on beat f---ing perfectly if you listen There isn't a single corny line or anything like that. The rhyme schemes and technical aspects are absolutely insane. Rapping at quadruple time while still maintaining crystal clear enunciation while at the same time having coherent wordplay with droplets of storytelling is f---ing crazy. By most accounts, including mine, Eminem bodied Tech N9ne and Kirzz Kaliko and it wasn't even close. MEDICINE MAN: TES vibes. secretly the best verse on Compton. Wordplay is on point completely. The delivery is on point. The flow is incredible. Its not "choppy" or "off beat" at all. Eminem's writing is very tight and held together, each display of wordplay in this verse is sharp and intentional. There is a deliberate feel, like confidence, in this verse. Eminem sounds hungry. The build up is perfectly executed; the cadence and tone is theatrical. It feels like you are watching a performance. Its like listening to the inside of Eminem's mind, translating to a man on the brink, searching for his own conclusion. The emotion is conveyed perfectly to the listener bar after bar, and as the momentum builds you can feel another element begin to emerge. Its like eminem perfectly juxtaposed his voice with the instrumental melodies, its f---ing seamless. This is GOAT eminem material. KINGS NEVER DIE: This track is excellent. Gwen Stefani delivers. The production is appropriate and the delivery, flow, wordplay, subject matter is all on point. ALL I THINK ABOUT: The flow, the wordplay, the tone, the delivery; Eminem on this track is stellar. Vintage Bad Meets Evil aesthetic. Eminem s--- all over Royce over and over again on this track. And that little A capella section was gold. PHENOMENAL: Underrated track. This song is good. RAW: Underrated track. A lot of you fickle dumbasses hop on the forum opinion bandwagon everytime a new em track drops. Notice the wordplay (see genius.com is you're too r-----ed to pick up on it) in the latter part of this verse. The flow is great. BEST FRIEND: Very good feature verse. The flow isn't off beat like may would like to say. The energy is great. The wordplay is again, top notch (inb4 some dumb n----- highlights the belly button lines) Not to mention his sway freestyle WE IN FOR ANOTHER CLASSIC EMINEM IS IN HIS SECOND PRIME IMAGINE AN ENTIRE ALBUM WITH THIS QUALITY
Aug 13, 2015 My issue with 2015 Eminem is he is constantly sacrificing what would sound good for insane technicality in his raps.
Aug 13, 2015 They said the same about the 2014 Eminem. I heard DvsE yesterday and Ems verse was f---ing amazing, His flow was dope as h---. I guess its just cool to hate Eminem these days. (at least in forums)
Aug 13, 2015 It's over complicated and contrived. Would've been better if it was more natural like the other rappers on the song for example instead of sounding like a rap robot trying to flow in a certain way that no one else would attempt.
Aug 13, 2015 Medicine Man & KND are the only songs I'd consider above average on that list. As @Spacemonkey said, none of them are comparable to MMLP or Devil's Night so no, this isn't proof he's entering his 2nd prime.
Aug 13, 2015 current em is good when you are into analyzing rhymes, multis and s--- that's the only thing he currently offers
Aug 13, 2015 Lately it seemsasif its meagainsttheworld, likeitwas be fore my lifebecame amovie and they usedtousemymothafuckintrailer to tease me wit (tease me wit)
Aug 13, 2015 Agreed. Eminem has been doing just as good as in 2015 as he was in 2002, and even better than he was in 2005.
Aug 13, 2015 How don't I know? 10 years ago Eminem was making stuff like Fack and he was on so many drugs. Now he is making songs like Kings Never Die and he's sober. Isn't that much better? The 2010's in general have been a much better decade for Eminem than the mid 2000s. In this decade he's no longer depressed and making quality music at almost all times.
