    This weekend I will give it one more try. I'll listen to it front to back and go into it with an open, unbiased mind (as unbiased as possible).
    My judgement now (after 1.5 listens during the week it came out):
    What I liked:
    • King Kunta
    • the For Free video
    What I didn't like:
    Hopefully my opinions change because apparently this album is actually pretty good, idk. We'll see.

    I mean, the concept is cool, but I really don't like listening to Kendrick crying all over a song. It doesn't do anything for me.
    I tried bumping it in the whip and my friends haven't talked to me since.

    :terry: It's not bad, I like it and so do plenty of other people on this forum.

    You may not, but I've seen plenty of people do it on here before with the peak/peek line on Bad Guy, and the Proof line on Best Friend.

    I never realized that line bothered people.

    It didn't phase me at all. Sounded like one of my old a--- aunties or my hustler grandma. Which I guess was the point. Which made it kind of resonate well actually.

    I've never seen you bring up a legitimate criticism of Kendrick or any artist/album that came up this decade.

    Disagreed. I have no problems with riding in the p---- like a stroller, but there's something about the "wash your a---" line that's just really uncomfortable. I don't know if it's the delivery, or the fact that it seems really out of place on the track, but yeah. it's not good.

    Not cringeworthy stop-the-track awful or anything, but pretty awkward.
