    There have been like 2 anime threads since SectionEighty started, so no it doesn't warrant an entire section. TV & Movies works fine.

    I can't believe staff went through with the basement, but aren't willing to try implementing a more valuable subsection to posters who actually deserve it :shmurda:

    Although I think an anime/manga sxn is a good idea, @JFK's concerns are legit. We've only had three threads regarding anime so far so until we get more threads popping in regards to the topic there isn't much to work with.

    Do we have enough anime fans for a sxn? Possibly
    Do we have enough discussions at the moment? Not enough imo. If you or anyone can recruit more members who are willing to discuss anime then maybe the higher ups would consider this preposition more seriously.

    Just my 2c.

    I'm sure, but besides this thread, no one is posting about anime.
    There is a section, it's called Movies & Television.

    Having a simple forum structure is SectionEighty's biggest strength. Adding a bunch of different sections becomes cluttered and confusing.

    I don't want a new section. I was actually one of the members against adding additional sections because of the mess that became the artists forum. We obviously don't have enough fans to make it worth a whole section, I'm not debating or asking for that in the first place. What I am asking for is a sub-section.. If that was implemented, I'd make it as succesful as it could possibly be. Since it would hypothetically be a sub-forum hidden, it wouldn't appear cluttered or unappealing to the eye. But back to my original point, keep in mind that staff was willing to listen to a C- troll and implement an OT subsection based on fighting between members. If that could be done, I don't see a problem with testing a sub-section for Anime. Give it a week. If it isn't active, it's removed :idk:
