Mimi the art of doing nothing

    Aug 17, 2015
Do lots of comparing. Compare flights costs, check every website you can you can for the cheapest offer on accommodation. How long will your holiday be?
How much is your trip to Canada/ Hawaii going to cost and how much of Europe would be be able to visit for the same amount of money?

When I go away I will always research the county/ city a bit/ watch some youtube videos on it. Look up top 10 things to do lists. Look up top unusual things to see in the place. Historical landmarks, statues, special buildings. I'll usually look up restaurants and bars to check out if they have a website with menus/ prices. This helps me a ton as I'm very indecisive and hate spending an hour+ looking for somewhere to eat when I'm already hungry. It also gives me a better idea in the planning stages on how much I might be spending on food and drinks.

I also find it very useful to research public transport and keep a note on me with the bus/trams numbers I might need and a general idea of the sorts of times they run at.
