Aug 17, 2015I hate having to self-promote myself. It's really hard to try and stand out among the standard lameboy, dime-a-dozen internet artists (because everyone our at our popularity is essentially a lameboy, dime-a-dozen internet artist).
I try not to take it too seriously. My twitter is mainly for social/personal networking reasons. As a means to keep up to date with people. I follow a tight knit group of people; most I've interacted with in regards to music. I think at this point I'm cool with just making music with the people in my interconnected circle of people. If s--- happens and someone close blows up, it happens. But I don't have the energy or the drive to promote myself exclusively as an artist. It's an impractical full-time ambition, and I feel it's more a hobby than anything else.
I guess I'm just cool with what has been established. I've met some incredible creative minds doing this music stff, and as a fan first and an artist second, I'm 100% fine with the way things are.
