Aug 23, 2015 I think this is a great addition to kendricks discography. There are a lot of younger chicks who dont know who kendrick lamar is, so making this move expands his veiwing audience dramatically. My good friend who hates rap music has learnt the whole kendrick feature and has now started to delve into GKMC on my reccomendation. Although we all know the verse wasnt great lyrically, if it can get more people into his music i am all for it.
Aug 23, 2015 I didn't really mind it, a lot of people would be hatin on him and be like hes gone mainstream and stuff. But at the end of the day who doesn't want 'some' mainstream attention? From a business perspective he's just doing something for extra quick $ and expand the brand.
Aug 23, 2015 People who complained that he "went mainstream" over one feature are being completely ridiculous, especially when he dropped one of the most artistic and creative hip hop albums like a month before.
Aug 23, 2015 It's okay. Not really a Taylor swift fan but she didn't offend me on the song. I did think that he was Lupe when I was watching the video so that was interesting
Aug 24, 2015 Poor and lazy writing from Taylor and lackluster Kendrick bars don't elevate this song at all. The whole song is very overdrawn and in spite of it being very catchy, I can't find it entertaining. Every time I hear 'bad blood' and then 'mad love' my guts are cringing so hard that I have to go to toilet asap. I still can't believe Taylor came up with something so bad.
Aug 31, 2015 Good for him, got him some more attention with the mainstream. Hopefully it will open the door to some others who have yet to hear the genius that is Kendrick lamar. However, I hope he never has Taylor or other pop singers on his albums.
