Aug 23, 2015 There's a ton of albums I am (or was) looking forward to that have sat in limbo for a very long time. Now that Dre has come out of hiding, I thought it'd be interesting to discuss the other projects are becoming 'Detox's of their own. Here's the ones I want, but am not exactly waiting for: Bishop Lamont: The Reformation One time Dre protege with a lot of buzz... in 2007. This guy put out a lot of album quality tapes before eventually leaving Aftermath in 2010, but going solo hasn't exactly given his career a kick. His more recent output is decent, and he promises a lot with this album with a lot of familiar faces involved, but after a few years and a couple of fizzled street singles, there is still no release date in sight. Shame. Nas: The Lost Tapes 2 This sequel seems to be just around the corner, every year, but it's been 13 of those by this point. I have no doubt that the material is there, but Nas has a habbit of disappearing without a trace between albums, and has recently been busy with Mass Appeal records. Last word of LT2 was during the announcements of the new label deal. Fingers cross he gets it out, but a new album will suffice while we wait. XV: The Kid with the Green Backpack This guy signed to a major in 2010, and has an impressive amount of mixtapes and collaborators. For whatever reason, the album is nowhere in sight. Can't help but feel like he has missed his shot at being relevent. Elzhi: Lead Poison A sore subject for many fans. This album was long in the works and has taken nearly $40k of fans' money already thanks to Kickstarter. The campaign to fund the project ended in November '13, and the album was said to be "close to mixing" a full year later. We are fast approaching the 2nd anniversary of the kickstarter, with no clear release in sight. Worse still, a quick glance tells me it's been 6 months since any kind of update was given. Glad I didn't donate. What have I forgotten about? What albums have been c----teasing you for a little too long?

Aug 24, 2015 Before this thread continues any further, XV, Jay Elect and eLZhi will all drop albums. Maybe not this year or the next, but they will.
Aug 24, 2015 I've been waiting for The Ballad of Belmarsh since 2008. Plan B can't let me down. Snippets sound so good.
