    (to get points at festival plaza, just walk around talking to people. If the bubble above their head before you speka to them is blue it means youve spoken already. if its purple they will ask you a question, answer it to get 0-8 FC points. i did this like 5 times every 2 hours or so of playing. got close to 200 FC now and my plaza is level 7 or 8 rn.)

    :notbad: Fair enough! Makes sense, that's a good idea. I got 2 Genesect codes at GameStop today... I could give one to my wife... or trade it
    Interesting stuff, thanks. Still don't understand what it all means but we'll see if I have the patience. Using the festival plaza and pelago seems easy.

    After putting 150 hours into Y/Red/Omega Ruby, idk how much more time I can put into this game haha

    Here are my legendaries - all legit! (@Final :emoji_wink:) Just found out I could transfer my pokes from my old Black version today

    I just caught Cyndaquil. Currently lit af.

    Not sure if someone posted it already, but here's a list of a ton of QR codes ya'll can use (including shiny Pokemon). You can only scan 10 a day & once you do, a rare Pokemon that's not really in the game or very rarely appears (how I caught Cyndaquil) will spawn randomly in one of the islands. Once you go to that specific island you will find it as soon as you walk in the grass it'll appear.

    out of everything wrong w 6th gen the cutscenes is probably my least fav

    everything just feels so disjointed when every area has black frames between them, before you could just go from area to area without any interruptions.

    The pacing and cutscenes are what makes the game feel new/different but I agree they are annoying.. it feels like I'm playing an actual JRPG anime now rather than the next Pokémon game. I'm just tired of the whole "island theme kawaii bro" direction they went.

    :lhmm: this is interesting, didn't know you could catch them this way. Only about an hour into the game so I don't have the qr scanner thing I don't think but this is handy, thanks!

    i just got my starter it took me like 4 days because i dont have the attention span for 5 minute cutscenes broken up by 30 seconds of gameplay segments

    yeha i saw the first cutscene and was like oh cool they got cutscenes now. second cutscene "ugh"

    also, totem pokemon are waaaaaaaay f---ing harder than gyms. this totem fucken salazzle fa---- can like 1 hit my mons (using charjabug and 2nd stage grass evo atm) so its grass and a bug so salazzle uses fire i lose. like legit got stuck in pokemon, havent had that happen since i was like 5 yrs old. games sick

    The QR Scanner works...Press X and go to the next tab. It registers the Pokémon in your Pokedex.. 10 per day. After you scan 10, you can scan the island for 1 random Pokémon exclusive to the scanner.. I got a Litwick both times so far. It's basically the new daily mirage island from ORAS.
