Aug 28, 2015 I know there are many Wire fans on this forum like myself...and I was curious to know what everyone would want if they continued with Season 6 - lol I know this will never happen but I always wondered where they could have gone with specific storylines I remeber Simon saying he wanted to do a Carcetti spin-off but HBO axed him on that.. Aug 28, 2015 Im sure you can add new characters and spin the same kinda circle...Cops Vs Dope Dealers it would be cool if they added the prison system, along with the rest of the instutions they show... - show all the kids grown up years later would be sick to see where they are at
Aug 28, 2015 Although I was upset as f--- that it was over, that ending was perfect and I wouldn't want a 6th season.
Aug 30, 2015 It's a cycle. The individuals move on, or die or go to jail, but the roles they play continue with new people. Technically, you can continue doing the show forever but at some point it'll just become repetitive. I think the ending was perfect and wrapped things up nicely. The only thing that's slightly intriguing is what happens when Avon gets out of jail. Where will Slim Charles be in all of that? Will he still be alive? Would he be receptive towards Avon if he's on top? I doubt he would relinquish any power but he would probably help Avon out. But Avon doesn't seem like the kind of dude who just wants to take a backseat after being at the top. I don't see Avon going the Cutty route and quitting the game.
