Sep 1, 2015 He was a stray we took in off the street ~5 years ago. He was suffering from laryngeal paralysis. RIP Jakey
Sep 1, 2015 I'm sorry man =\ I've only had my dog about 3 years but I know that the emotional attachment is crazy. Good for you for taking him in, just know because of you his last 5 years were spent in a home with people he loved. He might not have even made it off the streets had you not taken him in. Rip Jakey, great name and I'm sure great dog.
Sep 1, 2015 He had a great life. He never went unfed or without a place to sleep with us. He had a nice backyard to laze around in. He was a Beagle mix with bad breath and a skin condition, but d--- he was always happy and wagging his tale. I'd pet him even if I had to wash my hands after. I'm glad I got to comfort him before he went at least.
Sep 1, 2015 R.I.P. It's lovely to hear you took in a dog off the streets. I can only imagine how happy you made his days and I'm sure his love for you was unconditional. I hope you and those that are close are okay. Just remember, all dogs go to heaven.
Sep 1, 2015 Rip man. I genuinely fern really sorry for you. I love my dog so much but he's my wife's world. I honestly think she will have a breakdown when he passes.
Sep 1, 2015 This thread made me teary eyes. R.I.P. Jakey. I'm so happy that YOU were happy during your final 5 years. You're a real good dude, Strangelove. Cheers to you and I'll toss one back for your pup tonight. Sending mad love and positive vibes your way.
