Sep 6, 2015 I don't really understand why this guy ever got popular. I'm sorry I've gone through every Kanye album but I can only find like 4 songs I might ever listen to again. I admit his production is fantastic but he ruins every beat he makes imo. I get everyone has different tastes so if you like him, so be it.

Sep 7, 2015 Let me try to explain it for you. Luckily (and i can't imagine someone disagreeing actually) we agree that his production is stellar! Now about his lyrics/messages. I see it like this. He unapolagetically pushes himself to put every bit and piece of his (sometimes contradictory) personality on record. I can understand if you don't like him or this approach, but take into consideration how much more honest and 'real' he is compared to most popular artists out there. And for me, honesty and taste together equal art.
