Sep 8, 2015 As we all squirm in our seats with the uncomfortable thought that Kanye might have been serious about this whole running for president thing, celebrities are endorsing Yeezy left and right. In case you've somehow not heard, Kanye West made a long and poorly worded speech at the VMAs last week. At the end of his rambling oration, he blurted out a pretty big announcement: he's running for President in 2020. Though the Kanye 2020 memes that followed the announcement were gold, the possibility that he might actually follow through with this was upsetting to say the least. It's bad enough that we've allowed one cartoonishly wealthy aristocrat within an arms reach of running our g.d. country. To make things worse, other hyper-wealthy entertainers are jumping on the Kanye 2020 bandwagon, with Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith, Kylie Jenner, and now Ice Cube giving him their full support. Even Donald Trump said he wants to run against Kanye in 2020. Whether they have endorsed him for publicity or because they actually think he's fit to be our Commander in Chief, the entire prospect is somewhat sickening. When asked by the Daily Mail if he would vote for Kanye, Ice Cube responded, "I'm voting for Kanye, who is better than Kanye that would run?" So, so many people. He continued "If that's what it is, that's what it is. No matter who is the President, you got to all get up and go to work in the morning." Worst. Logic. Ever. When asked if he would run as Kanye's VP, Ice Cube responded: "I'm not into politics like that," continuing "You know, I'm into helping my people get over the hump. I don't have time to help everybody."
Sep 8, 2015 I thought I heard it all until the VMAs. I literally haven't cringed so hard in a while. Kanye needs to relax a bit. Dude is an awesome artist, but he has serious personality flaws. Then again, I can't say I blame him. The media has pushed him to his limits and beyond.
Sep 8, 2015 He's effing with the media... again. We can agree that Kanye ain't never gonna be no president! Edit: part of me does think, why the heck not TRY to run for president.. he ain't got nothing to lose.. mf we rollin!
