    He sounds like Wayne because he can emulate the sound and it was their first and only record together. Not to mention the actual structure and execution of thugs verses have NOTHING in common with Wayne's

    Also, at its core, both their writing is NOTHING alike

    Thug used to try and rap, lyrically and tonally, like Wayne when he was like SIXTEEN. For his first three "I came from nothing" projects

    That was over 5 years ago. They are nothing alike, and it's no where near a valid point to support your Drake convo w/ wpg

    No the point is Drake insinuated he would back when he was personally on futures jock, but didn't actually follow through until future got bigger and established himself

    started from the bottom doesn't really sound like a future song--it sounds like zombie's solo stuff, who produced it. being derivative isn't the worst thing in the world, but it's all drake can or will do now.

    Drake insisting to be a part of DS2 and dropping a chameleon verse is probably a better example. :idk:

    Future telling his engineer to start the track from the bottom, and subsequently inspiring Drake to write a song on his way home isn't really biting is it?

    The article wpg linked says drake joked about giving future writing credits, which future wanted, but didn't, and future said that was alright because he'd be on NWTS etc.

    Whether or not Future will get a nod for "Started," he will be appearing on Nothing Was The Same. "We working now," he said. "We on tour right now, so one thing at a time."

    Nothing Future says in the article backs up that statement the writer made.
    Hate, criticism, whatever you wanna call it, I've seen much more negative comments on his performance lately than positive ones. "They scream out my failures and whisper my accomplishments" comes to mind.

    Views from the 6 will be an important project for Drake His last 3 releases have all been average NWTS,IYRT & now WATTBA. His flow is just getting worse with each album.

    I mean this is just kind of silly lol. We have no idea why Future didn't make NWTS but there's no indication it's because he wasn't big enough. If that was the case why would Drake tour with him? And why would he have guests on the album with lower name recognition than Future? Feels like you're really reaching here
    Wow, everyone is right - this rly IS a make or break project for Drake

    yeah im just throwing s--- at the wall b/c drake fans would rather just pretend the wall is pristine w/o marks on it lol. i dont really think anything we can say holds much weight b/c there's no real proof of their relationship (except like drake asking to be on DS2 when it was supposed to be featureless etc)
