Sep 11, 2015 Adrian Perez is a fourth-grade teacher at McCabe Elementary School in Mendota, California, and he claims that he wants to be “the Kanye West of teaching.” To that end, Perez, a huge Kanye West fan, spent months decorating his classroom with Kanye-themed artifacts. Talking to Team Kanye Daily, Perez described the way he used things like the Graduation bear and the Yeezus artwork in his classroom decor: But such a thing was too beautiful to last. And predictably, some stick-in-the-mud school administrator brought forth the idea that maybe the “put my fist in her like the civil rights sign” guy was not the most appropriate teaching tool for nine-year-olds: R.I.P., Kanye West fourth-grade classroom.
