Sep 13, 2015 I honestly wish I could help you with this, but I've never sampled before so I'm not much use, even for tutorials on the subject. Try asking @Luke or @Bleed for some advice
Sep 13, 2015 All it takes is a quick youtube search..lol These are basic tutorials but they pretty much explain it EDIT : Just read the tutorials you found aren't helpful, well what would you like to know?.. what info are you looking for?.. what problem are you running into?
Sep 21, 2015 Anyone will tell you that it takes practice. My first beats were a--- af. Everyones first beats were a--- af. My point is that you can't just come into production expecting to make fire stuff without going through the basics. Some people are already talented at making music from playing live instruments so this may come very easy to them as they would need mainly software like Ableton and a good microphone to record their instruments. To others, they may need to put in extra work. Either way to answer your question since @Luke isn't here, it takes time and patience to get good at producing, and I'm sure @Luke will tell you the same thing. None of us got good right off the bat. So really, even if they aren't super helpful you will learn a thing or two, just re-watch the tutorials again and apply them to a song you wanted to sample and start from there. Best of luck man.
