Are you scared of flying in planes? Got any interesting plane story's?
I've only been on a plane a couple of times and the overall experience was enjoyable.

It's weird. I'm scared of heights yet have no trouble flying looking out the window.

Nope. You're more likely to die on your way to the airport then you are on the plane.

    Absolutely f---ing petrified tbh.

Strangely enough, I prefer flying long haul than short haul. Long haul I get bored after a few hours and ignore the turbulence and can actually look out the window when we land. Short haul I'm still too tense.

Long haul flying east over the Atlantic is horrible though because the tail winds create so much turbulence.

Not good for me and I tend to fly at least 3x a year.

Commercial aircraft no, but those single engine private planes yes

Private aircraft have a fatality rate about 19 times greater than driving

Oh yeah I thought this was mainly regarding generic travel. I think I've only been on one of the private ones once. I can't think of many reasons you'd generally ever need to go on one.

EDIT: Wait did you quote me? It says you did ha

Not scared, I've been flying my whole life. Anxious is probably a better word. Got a 7 hr flight to England today and I'm pretty d--- excited.
