    Depends how long they dated, how long after they broke up, and what the circumstances of their breakup was.

    LOL @ #3. f--- that guy, what a piece of s---. He doesn't sound like a person you'll be friends with post-college anyway. But if he's in your circle of friends and is close with other people and you think it'll be a weird situation, I'd say it's probably not worth it unless you think this has potential to be more than a fling, which is definitely worth more than a semi-friendship with some dude who asks other chics for nudes while he's in a relationship. It's a year later so it shouldn't really matter though honestly.

    I will say from experience: I casually dated a girl for a month or two in college and then we ended things because we had both recently gotten out of long term relationships (1.5 years+) and weren't ready for something bigger. She started dating someone in my group of friends about a month later. I considered him a friend but he wasn't in my closest circle. I was pissed at him for a few months but got over it and our relationship is exactly the same as it was before. I mostly felt betrayed because they kinda did it behind my back and she basically lied to me even though I knew I wasn't ready for a relationship.

    I know the type but still I value friendships over something that could potentially be a fling. If you know he's gonna carry on I generally am of the opinion it's not worth it. I've not gone through with some pretty good situations with girls because I thought it might hurt a mate and I gotta be honest I have no regrets.
