    camptech No more half-measures...

I am looking for anyone who has completed or is currently working for a degree through an online program. I went to work right out of high school at a manufacturer and now I am in sales and customer service. Pay is average and is close to home. I struggle every morning going into this place knowing its not even close to anything I want to do for the rest of my life. I want OUT of this office 9-5 bull s---.

I am an avid fisherman and I love camping and backpacking, Anything outdoors really. I want to peruse a career in Fisheries and Wildlife management. I am looking for an accredited online program to help me reach my goals. Going to a school physically is out of the question for me. I am a responsible 26 year old who works a full time job with two kids at home. Without working my 40 hours I wouldn't be able to provide what I need to at homestead.

If anyone has experience in the same field please let me know. This is just my story but anyone who has completed their degree online or please converse and share information for others that just want to better themselves. The struggle of balancing work, life and an education can be extremely tough. I want to know how and where you all may do it.

I graduated from a 2 year community college and chose a completely online program to finish up my bachelor's in Business Administration (Management concentration) which sounds pretty much like what you want to do. I'm doing it (very) slowly but for me, having responsibilities, bills and not having parents who were able to ever help me financially, online at your pace is the way to go. It's very different from traditional learning because it's more on you to learn and get your s--- done when you need to. It's not for people who need to have their hands held, but in your situation it'd probably be perfect you can PM me if you have questions m8

That's almost exactly what I want to do man, I am in the same situation my parents are financially strapped and I have always been one to take care of things myself. I found a community college here as well offering a 2 year program to hopefully get me started If I go this route. I am just waiting for information back regarding how much I would be able to complete online. The closest one who offers what I want is like 45 minutes away and there is no way in possible h--- Id be able to make that commute every day after work at 5. Especially here in Upstate NY where the winters are h---. Thanks for your input brother.
