    if you didn't know already, I'm a producer/engineer and part of a realllllly talented clique of dudes out of Minnesota. we all have a pretty big back catalog so I'm just gonna post a few tracks (both recent, except for the first widi) to check out. if you wanna check out a body of work from these guys, there's a John & Widi collab tape called LEFTGODS that came out in May 2014 and is one of my favorite tapes of the past few years. I mixed a majority of the tracks on it.

    It's with a very heavy heart that i have to break this news, Widikus passed away yesterday..

    Widi seemed like such a great guy. He was so genuine the few times we spoke

    Widi was the man. My heart is absolutely broken for John and all the Left Life/MN fam who are devastated by this. I'm sorry that me and Widi never got to finish the track we started together. I never met him in person but I can tell by all of the people around him what a great, energetic presence he was and that'll be with all of you forever. He and John have some classic music. Rest easy bro.

    first track I mixed for John and Widi. I don't know if I had ever mixed at this point. I remember them sending me a mix done by someone else that made my beat sound garbage. I had to take over, and then the rest was history.
