    This one post almost just made me tear up, this s--- is f---ing ridiculous. Im getting nauseous thinking about the weeks of media coverage and political discourse that's headed our way. All for nothing. Except to scandalize and possibly glorify the event, give the shooter infamy, and lead to another one down the road because no policies have changed.

    This honestly saddens me and tears me up. Ik stuff like this won't stop but as the fact that he killed people for being Christian as well as intentionally causing harm is revolting

    I agree with you. I just can't see this country all out banning guns. Especially with white trash in the south and it would probably make Yelawolf and Kid Rock make more music which no one wants

    @Worm sorry for that half-a--- reply. I was typing while waiting for an interview and somehow panicked as my name was called and hit post lol.
    What I was going to say though is you're right you can't really compare the 2 countries and say that America will have the exact same outcome as Australia if they ban automatic weapons. I agree with that, but banning automatic guns would be a good start, right?
    I also get what you're saying when you say that Mexico/Black market arms dealers will pop-up, so they'll never go away etc etc. BUT I cannot stress enough how small that amount will be in comparison to the factories in america pumping out guns. Not only that, but it's hard to imagine some emo teen that got picked on at school would walk up to a bunch thuggernaut black market arms dealers like "hey! guns are illegal now, so i'm gonna have to buy one off you guys instead :D"

    I'm also fairly certain that all these kids who have rocked up to school to play GTA IRL, just take their parents guns from home. That's ridiculously easy access for a weapon that can take life so easily. (inb4 oh but kitchen knifes heh)

    When Australia had a mass shooting we banned all automatic guns. Haven't had one since.
    When America has mass shootings on a weekly basis, they do nothing and now 45 schools have been shot up this year.

    You can't really compare an island country to a country way bigger sharing a border with Mexico where anything finds a way through. I don't ever see guns being banned here. There would be an uprising of white trash, confederate flag, pick up driving gun owners. I think they realize this and are trying to make the laws a little stricter each year and maybe eventually it will be too difficult to even own one. In places like NYC it's almost impossible to own a gun unless you're a retired cop.
