Eminem Shady XV is like Encore

    Shady XV is TRASH? Lol no, it's creative and it could work as a lead single for an album, and it shows that Em has finally learned how to make lead singles that are just silly and still good at the same time. Think about it.
    My Name Is was just silly and it was good.
    The Real Slim Shady was silly and serious at the same time, same with Without Me. Both are good.
    Just Lose It was just silly it was bad.
    We Made You was just silly and it was meh.
    Not Afraid was all serious and it was good.
    Bezerk was silly, and it was good, but he really hadn't perfected this yet.
    Shady XV really did perfect it. It has creative lines and is fun.

    I'd say it's more similar to The Re-Up. All the tracks Eminem was involved in were good. The tracks his artists tried to carry by themselves were pretty bad.

    I agree Yela was great on those, but Em was on those tracks too. His solo track (Down) was one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Die Alone had great verses with an awful hook and production.

    The fact that Shady XV is worse than Encore by an extremely wide margin says a lot.

    Encore's illmatic compared to Em's new projects. It's sad kids these days have no clue about what it stands for....

    First of all, Encore is a studio album by a single rapper Eminem while Shady XV is compilation album by Shady Records Artists. As for musical differences, I can give yoou one which makes two albums completely different. Shady XV doesn't have songs like Big Weenie.

    Edit: Encore's best songs like Like Toy Soliders are far better than anything on Shady XV tho.

    I think this forum brainwashed me at first, but after revisiting it I've decided: Encore is a great album. Forget My First Single, Big Weenie, and Rain Man and 90% of the tracks left are great.
