Oct 7, 2015 Have you ever figured out how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Oct 7, 2015 Is this a shot at RTJ? I think the review was excellent, and everything was pretty spot on except for this one comment. It's become too trendy to hate on traditional rap simply because traditional rap fans do the same to modern music like Thug, i don't like retaliatory opinions.
Oct 7, 2015 it has nothing to do with run the jewels. it's about fetty wap, and a dozen artists before and concurrent with him. kind of about travis.
Oct 7, 2015 by filtering atlanta rap into templates that new york loves lol. it's not necessarily an indictment--some great music has come from transposing other regions.
Oct 7, 2015 Gonna ask you again since you essentially answered with the same statement, HOW How is what Fetty Wap does similar in any way to what any new York artist does, from Jay Z to flatbush?
Oct 7, 2015 the verses are all linear/narrative style and the hooks are general extrapolations of that. compared to new yorkers, atlantas tend to write each line as if it could be in a hook.
Oct 7, 2015 n----- compared making some1 bleed to a f---in peppermint if that's not gr8 I honestly don't know what is
Oct 7, 2015 Holy s--- you're d-ck riding so hard rn lol "Hey guys, what do you call a guy in a white shirt getting shot? A peppermint!" it doesn't work as a joke and its decent imagery, but it's nothing worthy of quoting lol Inb4 not being level headed
Oct 7, 2015 Yeah him comparing committing murder to peppermint or Americas favorite pastime isn't creative, clever, or morbidly humorous in any way It's just me dickrididng K
Oct 7, 2015 It would have to be humorous to be morbidly humorous, and comparing two unlike things is a common practice in rap
