Figured I'd put this up now as this will probably be one biggest shows of the year. Ronda had been all over ESPN today, from First Take and Mike and Mike to co hosting Sportscenter(at 6ET)

Bump....

Not sure what to make of the main card.
Obviously the title fights are good. Joanna gonna straight murder that poor girl... and all of the new Rousey fans tuning in will be horrified lol.
Hunt v Silva II could be hit or miss, but the way Bigfoot's chin has been looking it will be a quick night's work for Hunt.
Hall's fight should be fireworks, but not a very important fight overall in the MW title picture (maybe for Hall but not Whittaker).
Rosholt v Struve could be very boring, it all depends on Struve's TDD and ability to get off/stay off the cage, keep him at range n strike.
rest of the card is pretty forgettable.

Prelims stink. Benoit/Nguyen in looking forward too(Benoit TKO'd Pettis a while ago) and Jake Matthews.

Whittaker/Hall is great, Whittaker won't let one of Hall's boring fights happen. And the fight is just as big for him. Either way the winner will probably fight Bisping in that February London main event.

Either way it's a better main card then 190, which dragged on forever with TUF fights and old washed up guys. I think whatever way Hunt/Bigfoot goes it will be exciting.

Holly isn't gonna rush Ronda like Cat did and Ronda won't rush her like she did against Betch. I dunno if it gets out of the 1st but it will last longer then her recent fights.

No doubt. Cat made the worst decisions possible. Bull rushing the most elite judoka in UFC history was profoundly dumb. The scary thing is that didn't put her too far off from the norm.

Almost definitely gonna watch this next week, have to wake up real early the next morning so that'll be tough but oh well, it's for a good reason (going to an NFL game that day. )

have a feeling ronda got ordered not to beat holm in first round in hope she can become popular alongside rousey.
might be a huge reach and even though i hate rousey, i hope she kicks holms a--- in the first round cause i think holm sucks :sean:

Wouldn't be surprised. It's almost as if her greatness is her biggest weakness. If she beats Holm with ease, people will continue to claim she fights in a weak era of women fighters and isn't as great as some claim. If Holm gives her a fight, people will claim that she's beatable and not as "unstoppable" as people claim.

So if she gets out of the 1st she will become a star like Ronda? yea you're right that's a huge reach.

I don't think the UFC cares if Ronda keeps destroying these girls, because she gets like 10x more popular every time she fights, which=PPV buys.

If she won a decision against Betch instead of getting that face plant KO, not nearly as many ppl would be talking about her.

And the next female MMA star isn't gonna be from Ronda's division, it will be from the 115 LB division. The champ of that division is fighting on this card and has been very dominant as well. She's not great looking so that might be a factor.

Paige VanZant could be a star, but she doesn't have the skills right now and she's still only 21.

Nah bruh. Obviously holm wont be huge like ronda but with that ronda retiring talk starting to surface, all women divisons are done. I feel like the ufc will try to push holm to be popular i noticed shes well liked for some reason by ppl :sean:

Nah bruh. Miesha Tate is already very popular, Paige VanZant is already very popular. Not sure you watch all that much MMA.

Ronda retires and there's not as much interest, but those divisions will keep on rolling and certainly be bigger then men's 125 LB division.
