Oct 27, 2015 When 808's came out I was among the Kanye fans that were puzzled by the album and preferred his others, but Love Lockdown and Heartless both stood out for me. Of course soon after I gave the album a chance and I love it. Heartless has always remained a fave of mine.
Oct 27, 2015 I understand, those are the more traditional songs meant to hook a wider audience to the album. But the pure bravery and refinement/innovation lie in the other songs imo. I prefer Love Lockdown over Heartless tbh.. much more artistic imo I'm not a Street Lights type a guy, but i understand the people who love it.
