    3 years ago today I left detox not having much hope I would be able to stay clean. I didn't feel good about my treatment and honestly wanted to use again that same day. I fought it though and struggled for weeks to stay away. Even after months I still thought about getting high constantly. I started to realize something greater was guiding me because ive never been that strong. A year passed and the urges finally weren't so bad. 2 years passed and I was starting to feel good and think about my future and even quit smoking. Today is 3 years and I couldn't feel better. Had a son and have a beautiful fiance and a new car. 2015 has been great and the future looks even brighter. Faith is a great thing and as long as you have it you will be fine, no matter what. Don't give up because a better life is yours. You just have to fight for it sometimes but it just makes you stronger... and I feel unstoppable.

    Yes. I am five years clean now (from drugs). I don't smoke cigs. Still drink but I'm far from an alcoholic. I drink maybe once or twice a month with friends and get pretty f----- up. It never made me crave drugs though, so I think you'd be okay. Before I was smoking weed almost everyday for ten years and using shrooms, coke, and pills (usually Adderall and pain killers like oxy or vicodin) occasionally too. I still crave weed sometimes but haven't caved. I have kids and a good job now, not gonna f--- it up over something stupid like that. Good job on staying sober. Keep it up.

    I understand meds are not for everyone I understand the stigma of prescribed drugs, and It shouldn't be that way, when they help a lot of people become their true selves. @Skippy your friends are abusing the drug and I'm not sure they're even prescribed it, a low dose of benzo when taken properly can help people with extreme cases of anxiety, if you're getting seizures from withdraw you aren't seeing someone properly that can help you ween yourself off them..

    Yeah ny girl smokes so much weed so I can't help it. Plus a Dr says it's ok for me to take xanax. So yes I'm clean.. unless you're a Dr and can tell me otherwise. Are you a Dr?
