Songs being lyrical doesn't automatically mean they are better. I think some people still don't understand that.

They also can't understand that lyrical refers to how well written something is and trap refers to content and production. There isn't any conflict.

His messages are all pretentious and 4chan neckbeard-tier. Everything he says is either common sense or incorrect hipster bs and both are delivered with a more condescending tone than a wpg post

First off, moron, subject matter is important and if you're going to be spittin about something as common & lowbrow as money, weed & b------s. Lyrically speaking, a child wrote this. Nothing about these lyrics (or that s-----y a--- flow, for that matter) are interesting nor do they make me think. Where's the clever wordplay? It's all very concise and straight forward. I smoke weed. I chase money. That isn't lyrical. That's just commonplace rapping.

Pfffft, "it's all about how you execute the song." You need to execute whoever made the g.d. song is what you need to execute.

you're a f---ing idiot. the subject matter doesn't matter. it's all about how you execute the song. you can talk about smoking weed and chasing money if you present it in an interesting way.

I value the lyrics more than anything else on the track. Even if a beat is wack, that can be forgotten over some bomb meaningful lyrics. If you got a hot beat you're going to listen to it a lot when your mood calls for it, but in the end it's nothing but a catchy, skillfully made beat. I'm sure many people will disagree though, and I can understand why.
