I feel like if a white person feels guilty talking about racism, and slavery then it's not my problem....it's personal.

If you do not own slaves, never owned slaves, never advocated for slavery, discrimination...etc. do not participate in brining down others then it's like what could you possibly feel guilty for?

If you can really feel guilty then you must be connected to it other than it being something from the past?

I'm not advocating that I'm right this post is pure opinion.

I wonder why white people always feel like black people are trying to take something from them?

Just because I say #blackfeelingsmatter I'm somehow saying white feelings don't? Which is ridiculous

This is by far one of the BEST examples of how racism and discrimination begins ...

Pointing out differences, and then making a clear distinction of who is better.

but do you see why this is a double standard.. by you saying blackfeelingsmatter its implying that someone said they didn't

which is ridiculous.. black are always the one who bring up race.. when white people are just like lets move on.

but you are by specifically saying that the black peoples feelings matter. why separate it at all? just say #feelingsmatter, what does race have to do with it? it's just exclusion for the sake of exclusion.

I think there's a misconception where the slaves only endured intense forced labour / abuse, atleast I did anyway. the mental/emotional abuse sounds worse.
