Oct 26, 2015 i'm an "imbecile" when you literally missed the point of the thread, which was stated in the first line of text? lollllllllllllllll
Oct 26, 2015 I don't recall ever listening to Just Tryin' Ta Live but Imma change that now...Really nice list, to you what were the most difficult years to pick? I can think of at least 3-4 serious candidates for the top spot for 98.
Oct 26, 2015 i just think there was a point of time in which Eminem was on top of the game, but its ok. everybody has an opinion
Oct 26, 2015 Hollywood $$$$$atire - Hollywood $$$$$atire's First Album available everywhere whenever he scrapes enough cash pan handling to rent a motel and get his mic from the pawn shop
Oct 26, 2015 not sure which time tho.. maybe in between mmlp and tes but i don't think he really has an 'era on lock'
Oct 26, 2015 era is a big big big stretch. an year is exact. 2000 or 2002. the typical stan answer will be 1999-2004 em was the best rapper and thats simple not true. he wasnt that good and that consistent. but not even giving him one year is the complete opposite and its laughable. Especially when Kanye has 2 consecutive years. These days i am listening to Kanye more than every other rapper and actually today relistened to TCD and its great but really Late Registration and College dropout are good enough but TES is not?
Oct 26, 2015 I'll be honest this is a solid effort but...absolutely horrendous list. Especially once you hit the late nineties and upwards. Devin the dude....?
Oct 26, 2015 Wayne from 06-08 was a legendary run. He was releasing quality verses every day. I think its possibly where Thug got inspired to go on a similar run except not have the same commercial impact yet
Oct 26, 2015 willing to bet you haven't listened to his album from that year or have never spent time south of st louis @KND @Section80 the fact that you two think this is some conspiracy is hilarious to me. eminem was a very good rapper. it's not like i'm putting will smith over him. he just was never the best rapper in the world at a given moment. that's not exactly slanderous.
Oct 26, 2015 first of all, this is barely english. second, how little rap must you have listened to to honestly believe that saying someone's not the best rapper on the planet is the same thing as "acting like they didnt exist"
