Kanye is a good lyricist. It's not the problem of him. MBDTF is good music. But Kanye is not good nowadays. Actually I'm looking forward to his next s--- cuz I'm wondering how it will sound.. Yeezus was one of the worst things I've listened to in 2013 just because the way it sounded to me.

Until the day rap stops being about pure "Lyricism" ... i won't bother arguing people that Ye is the best artist.

Whenever the tide shifts tho, he'll be remembered as one of the greatest ever. Yeezus is such an underrated example of extraordinary rapping to me.

Even on MBDTF he does have some lines that could be described as 'lazy writing' but everything else makes up for that. No idea who writes all his stuff, didn't know he didn't write Gorgeous

The old Kanye was a better rapper. He's exploring different genres and styles while still creating great music.
