Nov 2, 2015 well, no, i wouldn't go that far. @artYe is off the deep end, but kanye has continued to make great, and more often than not influential music for over a decade now. eminem hasn't done anything worth listening to in over a decade. furthermore, even kanye's more annoying fans tend to be in touch with the rest of hip-hop, where stans firmly believe eminem is the only rapper.
Nov 2, 2015 they are far far worse, and artye isnt an exception of the weird ones...these n----s can fill a stadium
Nov 2, 2015 nah. aggressive eminem fans in 2015 are mostly also cargo short-wearing, bud light-guzzling, confederate flag-waving losers.
Nov 2, 2015 well you have a different cross-section of people. the kind of person who thinks kanye is the greatest musical act of al time also probably is a pretentious twat who would love to cite beethoven. his eminem fan counterpart probably can't spell beethoven.
Nov 2, 2015 in general, i feel your casual Em fan has some kind of understanding that he isnt the god he was anymore(to him)..tho he will love his s--- to death..he kinda know he isnt untouchable or something but jesus kanye fans in the other hand...
Nov 2, 2015 That's because the average eminem fan barely know who Beethoven is. It's f---ing annoying how these classical composers are so untouchable, like it's nearly disrespect for hip hop. I mean... Beethoven and mozart were great and all but they stay people, musicians. Btw I didn't say that kanye is better at composing (maybe I said it, but certainly didn't mean it), but he changed his style more (which is easier because of the range of instruments Kanye can dispose, that's maybe too why he changed more than rock bands) And had a flawless discog, don't know Beethoven's enough to say he hasn't one.
Nov 2, 2015 also stop saying this like its an actual fact...way more people will argue that Beethoven have a more "flawless" discog so we srsly discussing this
Nov 2, 2015 Yeah sorry I forget that it's a sin to compare a 21th century artist to a classical composer, my bad
Nov 2, 2015 okay let's not even pretend that any of us are qualified to cross-compare hip-hop albums and classical composers' work. that's a moot point. when we're talking about the history of recorded music--something that's unwieldy and we shouldn't do to begin with--we really can only do the last ~80 years.
