May 27, 2015 I was 18, was going through a hard time, and had came in to some money. One night drinking I made a bad decision to take a drug I didnt know anything about. I know it was incredibly stupid, it caused fights in my family and friends, brought trouble to my house, and almost cost my friend his job, as well as the damage to my body. It took a while to repair the damage but it was 5 years ago and I've grew up alot
Aug 1, 2015 What's a bad situation you've found yourself in? Just recently with the movie theater shooting in my home town and how myself and my children were supposed to be there while it was happening, I've started thinking about how easy it is to forget how fragile life is. Just yesterday my girlfriend and I were shopping at Lowe's when we were alerted that a gunman was in the store. We were rushed into the employee break room with other workers and customers and told very little about the situation. All I could think about was how there were no locks on the door and no escape route out of the room we were in, other than the door we entered and into the store. I texted my mom and told her the situation and also my ex gf to tell her that I loved my children with all of my heart. The situation ended very quickly and I was cool with it up until I talked to my daughter who is 4 going on 5 and realized that I could have easily been killed, leaving behind my beautiful children and the rest of my family. I know s--- happens all over the place worse than what I went through but when you're in it everything else feels small in comparison. My heart goes out to ppl who live like that in their day to day lives.
Aug 1, 2015 Was in a mitsubishi galant that hydroplaned at 45 mph and T-boned some guy who turned in front of us. The guy was driving a tundra and had been on unprescribed morphine when he decided to turn out in front of us real quick. What's crazy is nobody in our car was wearing a seatbelt and we completely flipped the tundra. I walked away without a scratch, but havent felt the same about cars since then.
Aug 1, 2015 Lucky..I felt that way after my friend hit a truck from behind in high school. It took me forever before I was mentally ok with riding in the passenger seat and not trying to apply the invisible breaks
Aug 1, 2015 Passenger in a car accident. Still have minor lower back pain. He stopped on the wrong side of the street because we were lost on the highway. Someone hit us full speed from the back
Aug 1, 2015 Oh I'm happy that you came out okay though, I hope you aren't ever in that type of predicament again, bless you and your fam.
Aug 1, 2015 it was in a terrible car accident when i was 6. we t-boned a car that was going the wrong way and i wasnt wearing a seatbelt in the front seat and the airbag didnt go off so i hit my chest against the dashboard a good 2-3 times pretty hard. it hurt so bad i couldnt breathe i remember yelling at my mom, "i can't breathe im dying help me" and i really did feel like i was dying bc i couldnt get any air in my lungs. idk if it was shock or the impact or a combination. meanwhile my poor mom had fractured ribs trying to make sure i wasnt really dying. but yeah. my stubborn lil a--- shouldnt have been in the front, let alone without a seatbelt. lesson learned.
Aug 1, 2015 Ppl don't do s--- like that with their kids anymore. We were always in the front seat or without seat belts back then. Nobody gave a f--- lol
Aug 1, 2015 haha yeah. back then it didnt seem so bad.. but as i was typing it i was like wow was my mom a bad parent? but you are right.
