Nov 5, 2015 Seems it was the drug that effected him the most negatively when it came to his talent. He's talked about how it clouded his mind. Whoever introduced him to Ambien could be a huge factor in how things turned out.

Nov 5, 2015 That's why I figured it was the Ambien that f----- s--- up and caused the writers block,cuz the pills/drugs didn't wreck his skills then. I guess it's possible he wasn't so dependent and far gone yet though,along with being at a different place in his life.
Nov 6, 2015 I was on ambien for a bit, never abused it or even used it for anything besides sleeping but it was definitely strong and worked very well, not hard to imagine some people having trouble with it. Whenever I took it I was asleep within 15 minutes which was very impressive since I had a lot of stress and trouble getting to sleep during that time.

Nov 6, 2015 Yeah, my friend was on Benzos and had mad withdrawals. Now he's tapering on Suboxone. s--- is crazy. It's no surprise that Eminem got so messed up during that time period. Good thing he came good.
