Let's see who has the worst luck on Friday the 13th! Feel free to post in the thread many times or edit your original post.


I woke up at 5am to one of my cats stepping on my face (claws out). I said ouch and pushed it off the bed. Then he did it again 5 mins later so I got out of bed and fed him and the other 2 cats.

Then I made myself some scrambled eggs, but forgot to spray the non-stick spray onto the old a--- pan so most of them stuck to the pan. Had to chip them off later. Also made some delicious sour dough toast with peach preserves on top, and a nice hot cup of coffee.

Not too bad of a day so far, I'd say no real bad luck yet.

Drove to work listening to What a Time to be Alive for only the second time, enjoying it a lot more this time through. (This is my first time listening to Future tbh.) Saw a guy who ran his truck off the freeway, who had to be towed. Another car got pulled over also. Made it to work safely although I feel like I'm walking on eggshells and testing my luck by having to post about it.

My office got a big lecture via email from the CEO about how we disrespect our temporary receptionist, and we've gone through 4 in the past 18 months. I think the real problem is they keep hiring temps instead of giving them a real job with benefits, like the rest of us have. Complaints from the receptionists:

• Not very polite staff, they complain about everything - uses foul language when complaining.
• Lots of food and drinks left in rooms.tons of spills left for someone to clean up, is that me?
• Property management complains about E-cigs in office and hallways
• Lots of spills and no one reports them or cleans them up.
• Disrespectful - 1 comment which made me uncomfortable - "anyone can do your job, you will be replaced, you're like our 4th temp, so do a good job"
• Continues to to take the snack/storage keys from my desk, on 3 separate occasions found the snacks rummaged through and had to place additional orders.
• The company seems like a great place to work, if you are not the person at the front desk.

Been swamped at work all morning but I'm almost caught up. Since my boss is on a 2 week vacation in India, I dipped out at 2pm and am working from home with the wife and cats.

Winter finale is next week!!

But then like 2 months off

I imagine that is a good car, I've heard of Mercedes

What's your lineup like? I just started over Soul Silver, only got Chikorita so far

I'm sure @Mano still loves you no matter how fat you get

Important update:
I got a bagel from the break room. Asiago, with low fat honey almond shmear. I listened to Thank Me Later for the first time, and I actually really enjoyed it. I am inspired to go through all of Drake's discography now. Got a lot of work done as well. My Friday the 13th is going much better than one from 6 years ago, that appeared in my Timehop today, where I posted a Facebook status saying I woke up 3 hours late to work, hungover.

Thanks! I actually was pretty good friends with the 2nd receptionist, then I worked remotely for a month over the summer and when I came back, she was gone
