130 people were just killed by suspected Isis terrorist and you are know going to let in those people coming from that same region into your country. 99.9% of those PPl are probably good and really do need help. But that .1% May lead to another mass killing.

It was not during the war. Before the war America has a policy of isolation and did not want to be involved in europes problem. That's the reason.

there are about 8 things wrong about your post

but i will highlight the most obvious one, no the refugees had nothing to do with the attack...also lets not pretend the mindset of " 99.9% is good but .1% is bad" is actually fine..even if we assumed all of them were refugees (which none of them were, at least from what we heard so far) the 7 people who did this coulda done it in 10k different ways that didnt involve coming in as refugees

and during the war all of europes Jews were basically in the hands of Germans. How would America help them besides help defeating nazism?

Even if that is the case u are still putting ur country at a risk after what happened. You can pretend like it isn't.

you can go outside your home now and die of a falling airplane piece...shuold you not go outside?

the statistics your using is awfully technical and shouldnt apply to real life situations when its mathematically that low, if isis wants to bomb something they DONT HAVE TO use refugees..they wont magically increase the odds...they do want you to think that, but it wont

what annoys me is that people debating about the wrong part of the equation

imo taking in the refugees should def. happen...but it shouldnt be a permanent stay, there should be a long term solution in place

That was because of some f----- up census against the immigrants in like the early 1900s though. They used a pre-industrial American census which resulted in f----- up quotas :sad2:

How will it not? They are people flooding into the country from the region where fighting is going on. Of course there is a risk. And it's an increased risk, ever since he shooting
