Great track, but also one of the more forgettable tracks on the album. I like it, but I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. It's got really solid production, and a great sample, and quality verses, but it isn't nearly as riveting as something like Flashing Lights or Can't Tell Me Nothing or Stronger. Overall, probably a 7.5/10

Common's a f---ing fool for passing on this beat but I'm glad Ye made it into a jam. One of my personal favorites. 8.5/10

    Week 2
Two Words - Get Well Soon

The next song to continue this GOOD Friday's series is Two Words! This features the likes of Mos Def and Freeway with the Harlem Boys Choir involved in parts of the background. This song was so good that it made it on The College Dropout tracklist, I would consider it to be one of my favourites off that album.

Starting off with Mos Def, I thought that his verse sounded pretty good. Beginning with all the problems that exists in America, however him and Kanye has still came up on top. He's repping his city and despite all the problems that are going on, they will always hustle through it.. I thought Freeway's verse was alright as well, basically telling everyone not to mess with him because he is a dangerous man.

Kanye's verse is awesome. The first half is about him being from Chicago and his story about how he wanted to be an artist in both fields of producing and rapping. People were hesitant but it's now clear he is capable and "Grammy nominated". Then the second half of the verse he talks about how he hasn't changed and that his religious and racial views are still the same.

As for the production, we all know Kanye would never let us down. I thought the production was great from the intro to the outro. And thought that it was an excellent idea to include the Harlem Boys Choir during the hook and towards the end, it really gave an orchestral sound and didn't seem out of place when he put in on The College Dropout from my ears.

    Jakey's rating: 9/10 - am I reaching??

Rules: Give this song a rating/10 with and optional opinion/review.

The song has fantastic production and all three MCs had amazing verses. I've always liked this as one of the more hard-hitting songs on the album. It's still soulful but just a bit more raw than some of the other songs on TCD. Also, I didn't know there was a video for this - thanks for sharing.

    8/10.
