Goddamm I know music sometimes can be a reliable source for seeking comfort and airing out inner turmoil but that sort of behavior is very concerning...Why not listen to Kendrick or J. Cole instead? -

Seventeen copies of Logic's album ~$225

There's something generic about his music that I just can't get past. Tried giving Logic's music several chances but halfway through I get bored and listen to something else. His content is too similar to a lot of my favorite new artists so it just hits me "why am I listening to this again"?Translucent, Cerrone, boyz n the suburbs and 3 others like this. -

logic can rap well in the most basic sense. he's well-intentioned. he's a nice guy. he wasn't an industry plant. but the truth of the matter is that he's totally unremarkable. where travis scott is biting a handful of people who are very popular right now, then turning around and trying to package it as visionary art, logic is an enthusiastic guy who loves his influences and wants to make music like them. he's an imitator more than a biter, but that's just as artistically uninspired. if he came out 20 years ago he would have been lost in the din of guys who rap like that, but do it in an original way and/or have something to say.
in short, he knows how to rap but fails in just about every respect as an artist. kids buying his album four times should buy it once, then use the extra money to do their research. -
