@EminemSXN
It's been a pleasure doing this little countdown for you guys. I'm pretty sure, after this, you learnt a thing or two you didn't know about Eminem's discography because I sure have.
After reading through all the spoilers, it's time to crown the number 1 Eminem song on Section 80 and it shouldn't come as a surprise.
Should it?

Square Dance
Album: The Eminem Show
When I first heard “Square Dance,” I thought it was a brilliant beat and a brilliant concept, that weird country/rap mash-up. After all, here was the world’s most popular and important white rapper (ever); who else could mix these genres in a meaningful way? And when he began using his “cracker” white-guy voice, too, telling the audience to doe-see-doe, etc., it didn’t feel like he was making fun of white people, necessarily, but instead making fun of those white people who were scared of rap. The suburban moms and dads. The senators who’d called him out for easy political gain.
With “Square Dance,” Eminem was simultaneously appropriating white-people music, and lashing out at the criticism he’d faced from the insulated white establishment. One of the first lines in the song, after all, is “No friend of Bush,” and in the second verse we get “a plan to ambush this Bush administration/ mush the Senate’s face in/ push this generation of kids to stand and fight/ for the right to say something/ you might not like.” (And then there’s my favorite line, when he seems to be speaking to his army of suburban followers: “You just a baby/ Gettin’ recruited at eighteen/ You’re on a plane now,/ Eating their food and their baked beans./ I’m 28, they gon’ take you ‘fore they take me.”)

Like Toy Soldiers:
Album: Encore
Eminem’s emotional and conscious plea against violence in hip-hop, from his fifth album Encore. He details many of the beefs he and his friends have pulled (or not pulled) each other in to.
The beat was produced by Eminem along with Luis Resto and features a sample of Martika’s “Toy Soldiers”. -

Go to Sleep
Eminem’s verse is a diss to Benzino. He’s only dissing Ja Rule in the last bar. This song came out in february 2003. Ja Rule didn’t mention Hailie in a song until april 2003. The reason he’s saying Ja Rule can get it too, is because Ja Rule was threatening Eminem and Dr. Dre in interviews. He was saying he would diss Eminem and Dr. Dre if they allowed 50 Cent to diss him.Alpha, Jakey, Music and 1 other person like this. -

Hallie's Song
Album: The Eminem Show
After a tough battle, Em won custody of his beloved daughter Hallie over her mother, his ex-wife Kim. That battle and the joy he felt in winning was the inspiration for this song.
This track was actually never supposed to be released. Marshall recorded it for Hailie and had planned on locking it away until she was older and then giving it to her. Dr. Dre loved the track so much he played it for two women, who upon hearing it, actually cried. Their reaction is what made Dre tell him he needs to release it and so they did. This is also the reason for the censored words in the third verse.
