Dec 3, 2015 I just always assumed Didn't get he play a really inappropriate song for his sister when she was only 11? And the way he dances
Dec 3, 2015 His subject matter is never that intelligent and his delivery is dull. Beats are often simple / mediocre too and his production doesn't evolve that much and mostly borrows from more talented artists.. but this is all ofc my opinion 0=]
Dec 3, 2015 Don't know anything about that sister stuff.. but what about his dance moves is off? But going by how people dance is a terrible indicator lol
Dec 3, 2015 FHD's beats are mediocre??? You think that? I do hate the people/fans who are always like "you need a certain level of intelligence to understand his music" that makes us sound like dumbass Logic stans.
Dec 3, 2015 I do, but put Cole on that beat and i would've hated it a lot more.. his production feels so empty and predictable though.. he copies and pastes the same techniques over and over and it doesn't touch me
Dec 3, 2015 mostly loops (albeit a little more smoothly mixed than his previous LP's) over some really underwhelming standard boombrep drumbars ?
Dec 3, 2015 I don't know man, Cole is really dope and a lot of the s--- hits especially the broke college stuff. I don't see how you can't relate to that considering we're around the same age I can see why you wouldn't like Drake, but disliking Cole more than Drake? Coming from you that's
Dec 3, 2015 The thing i hate most about Cole is his almost covert snobism.. like you can never candidly catch him on thinking he's better/smarter than you.. but to me it seeps through every corner of his music and it makes it so much less enjoyable.. and he really really really doesn't offer themes that weren't already addressed in way more creative ways by other artists. Again.... imo i don't care about hoopdreams so that adds to it i guess also i hate how much he bites (production) directly from Kanye and he still acts like he's a really original songwriter
Dec 3, 2015 January 28th, A Tale Of 2 Citiez, 03 Adolescence, Fire Squad, and even Note To Self (that piano!!!) are all great great beats. FHD was him finally breaking out of the "boring" production people loved to claim he always rapped over and made. Many times I have heard that the highlight of FHD is the production.
Dec 3, 2015 man you're making me feel bad for showing this much hate i fucken hate cole tho brah.. you can't save me
Dec 3, 2015 let me leave before i embarrass myself and you guys any further.. i'm derailing too innit ?
Dec 3, 2015 There's always room in the Cole World.... YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE TO JOIN
Dec 3, 2015 Don't like Cole, why you here? Those are the same regurgitated statements I always see on everything about Cole. Whenever someone complains about his beats/production skills, I just shrug that off because whether it's boring to you at least all his beats sound different in different song. DJ Mustard, THAT guy uses THE EXACT SAME PATTERN FOR ALL THE BEATS HE MAKES. I can't explain the noise, but it first appeared on Rack City. I heard a Big Sean song that he produced and I swore to God I thought that it was a remix or something because it was the very same beat, but slowed down more. And Cole has versatile subjects, I think people who say that never heard of Lost Ones, Problems, Enchanted, 2 Face, Lil Ghetto n----- ETC. He does not always rap about money, b------s and whatever else that's in the Hip-Hop Starter Kit's of arguments. (I swear that should be a thing) No, I don't think Kendrick will Renegade Cole. Someone mentioned that Cole and K.Dot are the ying and yang and this collab album will bring out the best of both. I couldn't quote all of them, but there was some valid points made here
