Dec 7, 2015 It's the highest acclaimed award in music. Yeah they don't really nominate hip hop correct but clearly it matters a whole lot to many artists. It's the pinnacle to many.
Dec 7, 2015 All we gotta look at is numbers. Views, streams, sales. You can't trust Grammy's and other s-----y award shows anymore.
Dec 7, 2015 the people who do the nominations have no idea what is going on inside of hip hop. they see it from the outside in so its bs. Barter 6 is as good as any of those nominations but the nominations aren't made by experts in the genre so Grammy's are kinda bs.
Dec 7, 2015 Btw does anyone think it's weird that Kendrick wins over Young Thug? Not talking about agree or disagree but I don't think it's strange that people pick Kendrick over him at all.
Dec 7, 2015 Obviously not lol I thought it was implied that I didnt expect thug to actually get nominated (outside of good times which really was snubbed) but I guess not..
Dec 7, 2015 Didn't know you said that, was just wondering. And agreed about Good Times, should have won a prize.
Dec 7, 2015 To be honest I don't think thug will ever catch on to be on a j.cole, Drake, Kendrick level popularity
Dec 7, 2015 he doesnt have to be to be grammy nominated tho, b/c as i said his first nomination will probably be for something like "good times" (which really shouldve got one this year) rather his own album or song but yeah when it comes to rap and the grammys theres a s--- ton of politics in the way so unless thug starts playing along it wont happen
